Drivers charged after four tow trucks involved in street racing in Milton: Police

In an ironic twist, multiple tow trucks will need to be towed themselves after their drivers were charged with street racing in Milton this morning (August 1).

The incident happened on westbound Highway 401 near Highway 25.

According to OPP, four tow trucks were seen racing one another, driving on the shoulder, passing dangerously and making unsafe lane changes.

The drivers have been charged with street racing and have had their licences suspended for seven days and vehicles impounded for 14 days.
