Drivers asked to proceed with caution following a traffic light outage on Winston Churchill Blvd in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police are advising drivers on the road to be careful near Winston Churchill Blvd in Mississauga as the traffic lights appear to not be working.

On Sunday (Mar. 12) at approximately 1:40 p.m., police reported via tweet that the traffic lights were out near the intersection of Winston Churchill Blvd/Hwy 401 in Mississauga.

Police are asking motorists to treat the area as a 4-way-stop when passing through.

The Guild Electric crew are aware of the issue police say, but an estimated time of restoration has not been given.

No collisions were reported at this time.
