Driver nabbed doing twice the speed limit in Burlington neighbourhood

Halton police nabbed a driver doing nearly twice the speed limit in Burlington yesterday.
The driver was clocked doing 118 km-h in a 60 km-h zone on Guelph Line at Mount Nemo Cres. around at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17 according to Halton Regional Police.
The charges include a 14-day impound of the vehicle and a 30-day licence suspension for the driver.
The area remains a hotspot for illegal driving activity and police are focusing on enforcement.
