Driver in trauma centre after vehicle strikes snow-clearing tractor in Mississauga

Two people have been hospitalized following a collision in north Mississauga this morning (Feb. 19).

Around 6:20 a.m., a snow-clearing tractor was struck by a pickup truck in the area of Airport Rd at Thamesgate.

The tractor operator was transported to a trauma centre with head injuries, while the pickup driver has been taken to local hospital, police say.

Northbound Airport Rd is closed from Slough St to Thamesgate until further notice.

Residents should avoid the area.
