Driver in Brampton arrested for alleged impaired driving

A driver was arrested in Brampton for alleged impaired driving after their vehicle crashed in the snowy, slippery conditions on Monday night (April 18).

It does not appear that there were any resultant road closures from what Peel Regional Police are described as a “single-vehicle collision” in the area of Finchgate Boulevard and Clark Boulevard. The driver’s sedan appeared to have left the roadway and ended up on the sidewalk, with damage to the windshield.

The driver was in custody, police said.
