Hamilton Police took to Twitter to call out one driver accused of stunt driving in Mount Hope on Tuesday morning.

The tweet, which went out just before 8 a.m., was accompanied by a photo showing the driver clocked at 112 km/h in a 60 zone.

Police say the driver’s license was seized and suspended for 30 days.

Their vehicle was also impounded.

Drivers accused of stunt driving in Ontario – travelling 50 km/h over the posted limit – can face a license suspension and vehicle impoundment. They can also face jail time, a fine of up to $10,000, and a 100 per cent increase in their insurance rates.
