Driver found asleep behind the wheel on Highway 403 in Burlington

A driver has been charged after being found asleep behind the wheel in Burlington this morning (Oct. 30).

Burlington OPP officers attended to a vehicle stopped in a live lane this morning on Highway 403.

“The driver was sleeping behind the wheel with the vehicle running,” said police.

Police say disaster was avoided and no injuries have been reported related to this incident.

The driver has been charged with impaired driving over 80.
