A driver had to be extricated from his car following a crash in Milton early this morning.

A driver had to be extricated from his car following a crash in Milton early this morning.

Halton Regional Police report the man crashed into a field near Nassagaweya Township on 20 Side Rd. around 3 a.m.

After being rescued, the driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old man from Guelph, blew twice the legal limit during a breathalyser test.

He now faces several impaired driving charges.
