A driver faces multiple charges after allegedly taking their child to school while impaired.

Durham Police reported the arrest shortly after 1 p.m. on May 30. They report the driver was pulled over in a black SUV in Cannington.

Officers determined the driver was possibly driving drunk and gave them a roadside test. The driver is also accused of running a stop sign.

Their license has been suspended for 90 days and their car has been impounded for 14 days. This is the automatic consequence of an impaired driving charge.
