A driver was arrested after a vehicle crashed into a police cruiser in Mississauga late Tuesday night.
The fully-marked cruiser was rear-ended while on a traffic stop in the Dixie Road and Dundas Street area around 11:10 p.m., Peel Regional Police said.
One person was taken into police custody and transported to hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries, police said.
Police said no officers were injured.
Two northbound lanes of Dixie Road from Dundas Street were closed but have since reopened.
