Police are investigating after a man died days after being airlifted from the scene of a serious crash north of Brampton.
The OPP says the single-vehicle crash happened on May 20 in the area of 3rd Line south of 5 Sideroad in Mono, approximately 40 kilometres north of Brampton.
Police say the driver of a passenger van was towing a small utility trailer at the time of the crash.
The adult male driver was rushed to hospital and then air-lifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre. The 81-year-old man died two days later due to the severity of his injuries, police say.
