Dream vacation comes true thanks to Brampton woman’s $100,000 lottery win

A Brampton woman is planning the getaway of a lifetime thanks to a $100,000 lottery win on Christmas Eve.

Lyn-Lyn Ochinang is a warehouse worker from Brampton who is a regular lottery player. The Brampton woman bought a ticket for the Dec. 24 Lotto 6/49 draw and says she was shocked to see ‘Big Winner’ when checking her ticket on the OLG app.

“When I took a closer look, I saw $100,000 and was so happy,” Ochinang said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her prize. “I had a big smile on my face that wouldn’t go away.”

Ochinang said she plans to share some of the winnings with her sister, purchase a special birthday gift for her mother, and visit family before fulfilling her dream of taking a European vacation.
