Upcoming road closures will turn Downtown Brampton into a pedestrian-friendly attraction with festivals, World Cup action and street parties.
The weekend will be a busy one in Downtown Brampton with the Vibrant Brampton festival in Gage Park, the Brampton Farmers’ Market, the Downtown Brampton BIA’s Party in the Lanes events and two FIFA World Cup parties.

Starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Main Street will be closed between Nelson Street West/Theatre Lane and Wellington Street, while Queen Street will be closed between George Street and Chapel Street/Theatre Lane.
Free parking will be available at all municipal parking garages throughout the weekend, and visitors coming downtown are encouraged to plan ahead. Brampton Transit routes 502 Züm Main and 2 Main, and 24 Van Kirk will be on detour.
