Downtown Brampton road closed for watermain repairs

Watermain repairs in Brampton will reduce parking and block traffic downtown this weekend.

The Region of Peel has temporarily closed George St. at Queen St. West to all northbound and southbound traffic until Tuesday (Nov. 1) at 9:00 a.m.

Crews are working on replacing a watermain pipe. There will be no on-street parking while the work is underway, and while through traffic will be blocked, the Region says residents will have access to their homes and businesses.
