A fallen tree is behind the power outage that continues to plague a Burlington neighbourhood.

Burlington Hydro reports that crews continue working to restore power to customers in the Brant Hills area which is south of Dundas St. between Guelph Line and Brant St.

The outage is caused by a fallen tree at Martin Crt. and Colonsay Dr. which has caused damage to equipment.

Currently, 66 customers are affected by the outage.

Burlington Hydro expects the power to be restored later this morning.

Meanwhile, a small pocket of customers in another neighbourhood are without power this morning.

This outage, in the vicinity of Guildwood Dr., Regal Rd. and Oakwood Dr., is a planned outage for upgrades and is affecting 10 customers. Power is expected to be restored in this area by this afternoon.
