A double shooting in Mississauga’s south end earlier this week has police asking for the public’s help in finding a newer model Jeep Wrangler that was spotted speeding away from the crime scene.

The two victims suffered injuries not considered life-threatening after being shot in the early morning hours on Tuesday (March 21) in the area of Ettridge Crt. and Claredale Rd., near Lakeshore and Cawthra Rds., according to Peel Regional Police.

Moments after the shooting, which occurred shortly after 1 a.m., a newer model white Jeep Wrangler was seen fleeing the area and was last spotted travelling northbound on Claredale Rd. toward Atwater Ave. “at a high rate of speed,” police say.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in tracking down the Jeep.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call police at 905-453-2121, ext. 1233, or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
