Police are urging caution and say a dog is still on the loose after attacking a child and multiple other victims.
The dog was last seen in the area of Tiffin Street and Ferndale Drive around 12:30 p.m., the Barrie Police Service said in a post on social media on Monday.
Investigators say the animal “attacked several people, including a child.”
The dog is described as a light brown, large “bully breed” with a red leash. Police say the dog was still on the loose as of 4:30 p.m., and urged anyone who sees the animal not to approach or attempt to contain it.
Anyone who sees the dog is asked to call Barrie police by calling 705-725-7025.
