Doctor charged with sexual assault in Brampton

A 62-year-old homeopathic doctor in Brampton is facing sexual assault charges.
Peel police say that on April 23, officers were told that a young person was sexually assaulted during a medical examination.
Police say that following an investigation, Brampton man Sunil Anand was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
He was held for a bail hearing and appeared in court.
Police say that at the time of the alleged incident, the accused was employed as a homeopathic doctor in Brampton. Police say he also works at a separate clinic in the Toronto area.
