With more than 40 virtual events to choose from, Durham Region’s ‘Do It In Durham Entrepreneurship Week 2021’ has a little something for everyone trying to make a name for themselves in the business world.

The Region’s own celebration of entrepreneurship is held each November during Global Entrepreneurship Week. It’s a collaboration of Durham’s business support, educational and networking organizations who have come together to encourage and support entrepreneurs, job creators and innovators who create economic growth in Durham Region.

The virtual seminars focus on businesses learning, connecting, networking and building their competitive advantage. Today’s events include Building Confidence with Improv; Funding 101: Ways to Raise Capital for your Venture; and How to Create Social Media that attracts your aligned audience.

This evening’s feature is Tech Ex – an expo of the brightest new tech businesses from Spark Centre from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Thursday’s schedule features a Legal Master Class – Maintaining Corporate Records and What to Know about SEO: Practical Tips for Business Owners.

On the final day Do It In Durham’s seminar lineup includes Stop Talking: Your Customers are Telling you What they Want; Evolution of Business Success: How Three Women are Getting Things Done; and What Goes into a Perfect Pitch.

The seminars are free, thanks to sponsorship from the government of Ontario, the Region of Durham and support from the Business Advisory Centre Durham, local municipalities and businesses.
