Durham Regional Police are still trying to identify the woman found dead off the Ajax lakeshore nearly two weeks ago, releasing a digitally generated photo of her to help.

The woman was found in the waters of Lake Ontario around 9 a.m February 12 in the Audley Road area. Her body was recovered and sent to Centre of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy. The post-mortem found no signs of trauma or reason to suspect foul play.

Police describe her as Black, with braided shoulder length black hair and vitiligo skin pigmentation on her face. She was wearing a black sweater vest, red jacket, black socks with a green pattern and black gloves with snowflakes on them.

Forensic investigators have generated a digital image of the woman in the hopes it will help in her identification.
