Did anyone win the $40 million lottery jackpot in Canada?

A huge lottery jackpot was up for grabs in Canada Tuesday night.

The Lotto Max jackpot stood at $40 million.

However, it appears that no one was lucky enough to match seven out of seven numbers to claim the big prize, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation website.

Additionally, no one matched six out of seven numbers plus the bonus to win the second-place prize of $161,079.40.

There were 44 tickets that got six out of seven numbers to win $3,660.90, the OLG says.

For the Encore draw, the biggest prize won was $100,000, which went to one ticket.

The Lotto Max jackpot now stands at an estimated $50 million for Friday’s draw. An estimated two $1 million maxmillion prizes will also be up for grabs.
