Did anyone win one of 26 huge prizes with the new Lotto Max in Canada?

Tuesday marked the first draw of the new Lotto Max in Canada.

The price of a ticket went up by $1, there’s a bigger range of numbers, and the odds of winning the jackpot have gotten worse.

However, the jackpot cap has increased, there are new $100,000 prizes per draw, and more lines per play.

And while the jackpot odds are worse, the chance winning any prize actually increased.

For Tuesday’s draw, a $25 million jackpot was up for grabs, along with 25 $100,000 “maxplus” prizes.

It appears lottery players didn’t have much luck on the first draw of the new game, however.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says no one matched seven out of seven numbers to win the $25 million jackpot.

Additionally, no one got six out of seven numbers plus the bonus to win $176,073.40 in the main draw.

There were 24 tickets that matched six out of seven numbers to win $7,475.20.

When it came to the maxplus draws, none of the 25 $100,000 prizes were won.

There will be an estimated $30 million jackpot up for grabs, along with 30 $100,000 maxplus prizes.
