The Town of Milton has received an application proposing a zoning by-law amendment to permit the development of 10 detached dwellings.

The applicant, Aslam Nadeem, is proposing the amendment, which is required to implement site-specific standards in order to permit the proposed development.

The lands, which are approximately 0.2 hectares in size, are located on the west side of Cedar Hedge Rd., north of Derry Rd.

The draft plan of subdivision is also compatible with the surrounding residential uses and the proposal notes it will complete the development of the neighbourhood.

The application is currently undergoing technical review by Town staff and agencies and is set to be discussed at an upcoming virtual statutory public meeting next month.

The meeting is set to take place on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

While members of the public are being invited to provide their input to the public meeting, a decision on this application will not be made by Milton Council that day.

Those interested in participating may fill out the delegate request form. For assistance filling out the form, email the Town or call 905-878-7252 ext. 0. Forms must be submitted by  Thursday, April 7, 2022.
