A demolition derby is happening this weekend in the Town of Milton.

The demo derby, which will take place on Sunday (Sept. 25) at the Milton Fairgrounds, will be part of the annual fall fair which is taking place all weekend.

This year’s event, which is being hosted by the Milton Agricultural Society, will take place at 136 Robert St. from Sept. 23 to Sept. 25.

The annual fair has roots dating back to 1853 and is best known for offering the community a chance to explore agriculture while learning about all things rural.

After the event was forced to be put on hold for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many locals are looking forward to this year’s fair more than ever.

Aside from the demo derby, the fair will also feature a variety of activities and fun for the whole family all weekend long.

The event will kick off on Friday (Sept. 23) with a market stage, food vendors, a display barn, a beer tent and live entertainment and feature a classic car show on Saturday (Sept. 24).

The fair will also feature products for purchase that include fruits and vegetables, antiques, flowers and more.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gates.
