Delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Caledon heist

Police are searching for suspects after a delivery driver in Caledon was robbed at gunpoint and left in a ditch on Monday.

Around 12:00 p.m. on Jan. 31, police say a delivery driver was traveling on McLaughlin Road near Boston Mills Road in Caledon when they were boxed in by two vehicles.

That’s when police say the occupants exited the vehicles and at least one suspect with a firearm was brandished.

Police say the suspects took items from the delivery vehicle. And while the driver wasn’t injured in the robbery, police said they were secured and left in a ditch.

The two suspect vehicles are described as a black Dodge caravan and a silver Chevrolet sedan, and the suspects are described as black males.

Police say the Chevrolet likely has moderate to heavy front end damage.
