Travellers at Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga and other Canadian airports could face delays at customs inspection areas due to a systems outage, federal authorities said on Wednesday afternoon.
The Canada Border Services Agency said in an online notice “there is currently an outage of the CBSA Primary Inspections Kiosks at airports. We are working with partners on fixing the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
It’s not clear if all Canadian airports are impacted by the disruption.
Pearson officials reposted the CBSA social media notice to the airport’s X platform.
The latest outage is similar to several others that impacted Pearson and other airports in the last few months of 2025.
The earlier IT systems outages struck the agency’s primary inspection kiosks inside terminals 1 and 3 at Pearson and at other unspecified Canadian airports.
The incidents led to some delays for travellers.
The Canada Border Services Agency is the federal law enforcement agency responsible for border control, immigration enforcement and customs services at airports in addition to other locations.
