The crash on Hwy. 12 at Regional Road 15 happened around 4:19 p.m. on Friday (May 6). A southbound motorist attempted a left-hand turn on to Regional Road 15 when they struck a northbound driver in the intersection. Both suffered serious injuries.
Officers from the Whitby detachment off the Ontario Provincial Police are expected to be at the crash scene for the next few hours.
