A dead body was discovered in the water near Pier 8 at Hamilton Waterfront.
Hamilton Police tweeted at 10:14 a.m. on Tuesday that it was investigating reports of a body found in Lake Ontario.
The body was recovered from the water with the help of the marine unit.
