Dead body found during missing persons investigation in Niagara Falls

Investigations into a missing woman in Niagara Falls intensified after a body was discovered in the same area police were canvassing.
Niagara Regional Police are actively investigating the disappearance of Tenille Olivia Lepp, who was reported missing on Oct. 31.
Police say given the circumstances, a ground search led by the Homicide Unit, Emergency Task Unit (ETU), Marine Unit, and Canine Unit, is ongoing in the Thundering Waters Boulevard and Marineland Parkway area in Niagara Falls.
On Friday (Nov. 3) authorities discovered the body of a woman in the area where the missing persons search was taking place.
Police haven’t confirmed if the body is that of Lepp, as identification is pending the results of a postmortem examination.
As investigations into the incident continues, residents can expect to see an increased presence of police in the area.
