Dead body discovered in Scugog

Police are on scene on the Lake Scugog shoreline after a body was discovered in the water.

Durham Regional Police say a body was found in the lake near Pier St. and Centre St. in the small community of Caesarea, though further details are sparse.

Police confirmed the discovery shortly after 2 p.m. on Feb 16.

They have not commented as to whether or not they suspect foul play.
