Dash cam footage sought by police after one person killed in Caledon crash

Police are investigating and asking the public for leads following a fatal crash in Caledon.

The incident happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Friday (July 7) when emergency crews were called to the area of Old Church Rd. and Humber Station Rd. in Caledon.

The OPP says two vehicles were involved in a collision and four people were injured in the crash.

The victims were rushed to hospital in various conditions and police say a 74-year-old from Toronto was later pronounced deceased. Police have not released any additional details about the deceased.

Emergency crews blocked off Old Church Rd. between Highway 50 and The Gore Rd. as well as Humber Station Rd. for several hours while the investigators and collision reconstructionists were on the scene.
