Dangerous Weather Alert Currently in Effect for Mississauga

An extreme cold weather alert is currently in effect for Mississauga as the city anticipates a big temperature drop later in the day.
“Temperatures in Mississauga are set to drop below -15 with the wind chill,” the city reports.
According to Environment Canada, a low of -18 is expected this evening with wind chill near -24.
As always with extreme cold weather, residents are advised to stay indoors as much as possible, wear multiple layers when outside, and drink warm fluids.
