Dangerous condition: Road closed due to watermain break in Brampton

Crews are responding to a dangerous roadway condition in Brampton this afternoon.

A watermain break was reported shortly before 5 p.m. at Heart Lake Rd and Birchcliffe Dr, south of Sandalwood Parkway E.

Police say water is pooling on the road.

Southbound Heart Lake is currently closed between Birchcliffe Dr and Sprucewood Rd.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and take other routes.
