One Catholic elementary school that was reporting three cases dropped off today’s COVID-19 report, but a new secondary school was added on Oct. 7.

There are now 12 active COVID-19 cases in Burlington, Oakville and Milton Catholic schools, down two from yesterday.

In addition, just two classrooms are closed in the nine Halton Catholic District Board schools reporting a positive case among staff and students.

When a classroom is closed, students are sent home to quarantine for at least 10 days and learn remotely.

As older cases are resolved, schools are removed from the listing.

Here is a list of all schools currently reporting cases:

Elementary

  • Guardian Angels: 1 case
  • St. Benedict: 1 case, 1 class closed
  • St. Teresa of Calcutta: 2 cases, 1 class closed
