DAILY UPDATE: One new school in Burlington, Oakville, Milton reporting COVID-19 case on Dec. 3

One new school in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills is reporting a case of COVID-19 on Dec. 3.

Overall, two new cases are being reported at Halton public and Catholic schools, bringing the total to 35 cases.

Nine classrooms are closed, all at the Catholic board, as the public board continues to apply a different standard than most boards in the province regarding closed classes.

When a classroom is closed, students are sent home to quarantine for at least 10 days and learn remotely.

As older cases are resolved, schools are removed from the listing.
