DAILY UPDATE: One new COVID-19 case at Milton, Oakville, Burlington schools on Oct. 29

There was one new case of COVID-19 reported at Halton Catholic District Board schools on Oct. 29.

In addition, one new classroom has been closed.

This brings the total active infections to six at the board’s schools in Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Halton Hills, with four classrooms closed.

At the Halton District Public Board, there are still six active cases, unchanged from yesterday

When a classroom is closed, students are sent home to quarantine for at least 10 days and learn remotely.

As older cases are resolved, schools are removed from the listing.
