DAILY UPDATE: COVID-19 cases remain low at Catholic schools in Burlington, Oakville, Milton on Oct. 18

The week opens with only four Halton Catholic District Board schools reporting an active COVID-19 case on Oct. 18.

There are six active cases among the board’s 55 schools in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills and three classrooms closed.

When a classroom is closed, students are sent home to quarantine for at least 10 days and learn remotely.

As older cases are resolved, schools are removed from the listing.

Here is a list of all schools currently reporting cases:

Elementary

  • Our Lady of Victory: 1 case, 1 class closed
  • St. Benedict: 3 cases, 2 classes closed
  • St. Raphael: 1 case

Secondary

  • Assumption: 1 case
