Cyclist with ‘life-threatening’ injuries after Pickering collision

Police appeal for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a collision.

A 68 year-old cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision near Whites Road and Kingston Road in Pickering today.

Westbound lanes on Kingston Road were shut down for several hours while Durham Police investigated the cause of the collision.

The lanes are now open but police are still on scene.

The cyclist was transported to a Toronto trauma centre. His condition is now listed as stable.
