Cyclist struck by vehicle at major Brampton intersection

Paramedics are responding to a collision in Brampton this afternoon (Nov. 7).

At 11:58 p.m., a collision involving a vehicle and cyclist was reported at Dixie Rd and Queen St.

The extent of the cyclist’s injuries are unknown, but police say the cyclist is conscious and breathing.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and take other routes.

UPDATE: The cyclist is being taken to local hospital with minor injuries.
