Cyclist killed after collision with car in Niagara Falls at Highway 405

A 43-year-old cyclist died late Saturday night (May 20) after being struck by a car in Niagara Falls.

The collision took place at 11:20 pm on the off-ramp to Stanley Ave. on Highway 405.

The OPP reported the man was declared dead at the scene. So far, there has been no mention of charges or specifics in how the accident happened.

The fatal collision caused the ramp to be closed for a short time before reopening.

The OPP are continuing to investigate.
