Culprit gets away after shots fired in Mississauga

Another suspect is on the loose after shots were reportedly fired near a busy area in Mississauga on Friday night.

On Aug. 4, around 9:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a shooting at Glen Erin Dr. W. and Britannia Rd.

According to police, after the gunshots were fired, a dark-coloured sedan was seen fleeing the area.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, police say.

A description of the suspect is unavailable at this time.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed or has information, including dashcam footage relating to the incident to contact the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-453-3311, extension 1133.
