Jo-Anne MacKinnon admits she doesn’t spend a lot of time screaming and dancing around her living room, but she has made an exception when she found out she won $250,000.

MacKinnon, a reared 57-year-old, recently purchased an Instant Silver Stacks lottery ticket simply because it caught her eye. When she got home and decide to investigate, the merriment came fast and furious.

“I scanned my ticket using the OLG App, and when I saw I was a winner, I started screaming and dancing, for probably an hour!” she laughed.

The mother of one and grandmother of two said she felt like she was floating on air. “This experience has been incredible. I am going to plan a trip to Cuba, purchase a new bed and enjoy retirement,” she said.

Instant Silver Stacks is available for $20 and the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.50.

The winning ticket was purchased at Long Branch Mart on Lake Shore Blvd. in Etobicoke.
