Crime Stoppers hosts document-shredding fundraising event for residents of Oakville, Burlington, Milton

If you’re looking to shred your personal or business documents, and want to support Crime Stoppers of Halton at the same time, an upcoming event will be perfect for you.

A Shred Event Fundraiser is being held May 27 at Halton police headquarters at 2485 North Service Rd. in Oakville for residents of Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills.

In partnership with blue-pencil.ca, residents will be able to bring their sensitive documents and watch them be shredded.

Donations are accepted in any amount, but the suggested amount is $20 per bankers box.

Crime Stoppers of Halton is exclusively run by volunteers.

There is no pre-registration necessary for the event and volunteers will be onsite to help you quickly unload your vehicle.
