Crews knock down Brampton house fire

Emergency crews were on scene of a house fire in Brampton on Wednesday (Sept. 21).

Brampton Fire and Emergency Services were called to a residence in the area of Lollard Way and Rivermount Rd. on Wednesday afternoon.

Photos from the scene showed two Brampton Fire and Emergency Services fire trucks parked in front of a row of townhomes, one of which appeared to have been damaged by smoke or flames.

According to posts online, firefighters were able to knock down the house fire and no injuries were reported.

Brampton Fire said crews were beginning to clear the scene shortly before 4:00 p.m., but asked drivers and residents to avoid the area.

Officials did not say what caused the fire or if anyone was inside at the time.
