Creating environmentally friendly homes in Burlington, Hamilton topic of panel discussion

How to make your own living space more environmentally friendly is the topic of an upcoming panel discussion for Burlington and Hamilton residents.

Presented by the Bay Area Climate Change Council, the webinar discussion will focus on the ways you can retrofit your home to increase energy efficiency.

“This is a great opportunity for Burlington and Hamilton homeowners and renters to learn about the relationships between buildings and climate, how to make your home more energy efficient, how to finance home energy upgrades, and what your city is doing to support GHG emissions reductions in residential buildings,” reads a statement by the BACCC.

Topics covered will include:

• making your home more energy efficient,
• financing home energy upgrades,
• the relationships between buildings and climate, and
• what your City is doing to support greenhouse gas emissions reductions in residential buildings?

The event will be held online on Feb. 27 starting at 6:30 p.m. There is no cost and a question and answer session will also be available.
