Crash on Highway 401 leads to impaired charges in Mississauga

One person faces impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle crash in Mississauga early Friday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the collision in the Highway 401 westbound express lanes near the highways 403/410 interchange, OPP said in a post on X at 3:10 a.m.
“The driver lost control and struck the end treatment, causing significant damage,” police said.
Police added the driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was not injured.
A 24-year-old man from Montreal was charged with impaired driving.
