Crash in Mississauga sends woman to hospital, Peel Police remain on scene

A woman has been rushed to a local trauma centre Thursday morning (March 10) following a crash in Mississauga.
Peel Police said the crash occurred in the area of Danton Promenade and Derry Road just after 7 a.m.
One of the two cars involved crashed into a barrier wall, police said, and a female driver had lost consciousness.
Peel Paramedics attended the scene and all other injuries are considered minor.
Officers are holding the scene as they await an update on the woman’s condition and motorists are urged to consider alternate routes in the meantime.
