Police are on scene of a crash in Brampton tying up traffic just north of Pearson Airport this morning (Oct. 6).

Around 7:15 a.m., Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Airport Rd. and Steeles Ave. after a vehicle crashed into a pole.

A police spokesperson said there were no reports of injuries.

Police have closed northbound Airport Rd. at Steeles Ave., and asked that drivers avoid the area or find alternate routes if possible while emergency crews are on scene.

More to come.
