Crash closes all Niagara bound QEW lanes at Grimsby

A crash closed the westbound lanes of the QEW at Grimsby this morning.
An SUV struck the back of a transport truck and rolled into a ditch in the Niagara bound at Casablanca Boulevard this morning (Feb. 9), OPP said in a tweet around 8 a.m.
The SUV driver was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
All westbound lanes west of Casablanca Boulevard were closed for the collision investigation.
The SUV was badly damaged in the crash.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
Police were expected to reopen the lanes around 8:30 a.m.
