Craft beer festival with breweries and food on this weekend in Mississauga

It’s Father’s Day weekend and dads may enjoy a cold beer this weekend.

The two-day Mississauga Creative Craft Beer Festival from CreativeHub 1352 starts tonight (June 16).

The festival returns for the second year to the Small Arms Inspection Building in Lakeview and will deliver three jam-packed sessions featuring more than 15 craft breweries and food vendors, large format games, and live music. 

On tap for this year’s event are Lost Craft Brewery, Paniza Brewery, Eastbound Brewing Co., Indie Ale House Brewing Co., Nickel Brook Brewing Co., Old Credit Brewing Co., Old Flame Brewing Co., Red Tape Brewery, Stonehooker Brewing Co., Founders Original, and more.

Live entertainment includes RagWax, Tom Barlow, and Tony Pagila.

The admission price includes a souvenir sampling glass as well as two complimentary sample tokens each good for a four-ounce sample size or food offering.

People can buy additional tokens for food and beverages at the event.

Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available. There is free parking on site but be sure to arrange a safe ride home. The Longbranch GO Station is nearby along with MiWay bus stops.

The second annual festival kicks off at 6 p.m. today (June 16). There are three sessions: Friday, June 16, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, June 17, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, June 17, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Tickets are $22 online or $25 at the door.
